I lead the team responsible for building a strong brand experience around QBP's customer events — from the first email invitation to the happy hour on the last day. We strategize, concept, and create the branding, communications, and experiential elements, as well as work with the photographers, videographer, and social media manager to get the story out.
Our largest event of the year, Frostbike welcomes 600 retailers and 100 exhibitors to the Twin Cities. Two days of business-building educational seminars kick things off, followed by an expo takeover of our headquarters. The Q creative team fuels the stoke with signage, schwag, decor, and more.
QBP is in the business of bikes, and the coolest opportunity to test ride our new models is at SaddleDrive. It is an exclusive, invite-only chance for our best retail partners to engage with our owned and our partner brands' products. Way-finding, both at the resort and out on the trails, and branding are my team's most important tasks with this event.
Bike shops are hungry for education on how to improve their businesses. Service Summit is a new QBP event that gives service department leadership insight on building greater profitability for their shop. Our challenge here was to build awareness of a new event and to make sure retailers understood that this is not technical service training but instead covers business strategies. We filled all the seats, and attendees were really excited about the content.
