During my time designing for Hamline, we transitioned the undergraduate admissions brand from dark and traditional-looking to fresh and energetic, in order to better engage high school students considering their college options. Bright colors, dynamic photos, and geometric patterns help bring to life all the opportunities on campus.

Undergraduate Admission Welcome Kit
In order to make the experience of getting into college feel more celebratory, we changed the acceptance notification (previously a 1-page letter on formal stationery) to this cheerful and energetic welcome kit. A series of openings leads to the letter and introductory materials.

Study Abroad Postcard Book
To build on the exploding popularity of studying abroad, the Admissions Department asked for a giveaway to draw attention to the college's strong offerings. Reminiscent of postcard books at souvenir shops, this foldout piece highlights some of the fabulous destinations you can travel to with Hamline. The photos are a mix of students' travel photos and stock art. The reverse is either a handwritten quote from a student about their experience overseas or info about the program.
Athletics Calendar
Staying top-of-mind with high school athletes is key for college recruiting. This desk calendar pairs adrenaline-fueled, in-the-mix action shots with selling points on Hamline's Division III programs.

Undergrad Viewbook
One of the first impressions a potential student forms of a school is based on its viewbook. We made sure Hamline's was lively and welcoming, covering wide range of things that interest high school students when they're deep in their college search.
